Hailing from Oakland, California, he’s currently the Head of A&R at Yo Gotti’s CMG Record label. He’s also an artist in his own right, having recently signed to Def Jam Records and is preparing his sophomore album, Salute to the Real, Pray for the Fake, that follows the release of his debut album in 2017. DaBoyDame got his start as a local DJ after picking the craft up from his uncle and then spent four years as an intern at a radio station before making his introduction into the industry. Since then, he’s become a force to be reckoned with.
